The Style Issue has arrived?

Being an avid blog reader and after contemplating for many days, weeks, months, perhaps it's even stretched to beyond a year, The Style Issue is finally running. I feel now is a good time, as a new autumn is on the horizon, bringing with it S/S 2011 fashion weeks across the globe and a perfect temperature for wearing lots of black, aviator jackets and dark red lipstick.

Unfortunately I think the name, The Style Issue, sounds so pompous but it is the only name I have managed to think of that isn't taken by teenyboppers who decided blogging wasn't their idea of fun and ditched their blogs a year ago, therefore I am sticking with it.

I'm not sure what will come from this. I believe very little. Personal enjoyment, time wasting, a small following whom will show a little, yet vague, interest at the very most. I do not work in the fashion industry, I have in fact never had a job in my entire short life and I (unfortunately) do not have a closet bursting with designer gear.

On the other hand, like most girls, I have been reading Vogue UK, Elle UK and Glamour since I was a pre-teen, I bought my first Chanel lipgloss when I was eleven, plan to train as an mua and once spent a whole week doing nothing but cutting out pictures from the aforementioned fashion magazines. I could continue to explain my reasons for starting this blog, but I feel that they would not be satisfactory and I do not wish to bore you this early on into my blogging career.
